In 2014, the Osage Nation sought, for the first time in decades, to design and construct new housing for its people. The Osage Nation had obtained discounted land during the 2008 housing bust and decided to do something positive with it. Initially an affordable housing build, the marketability of the homes made leadership think twice. These 15 units were conceptualized, designed, engineered, value engineered, built, and sold over the course of 2 years.
